Crimson Blood: Ryndella Flynn one
The aroma filled the air. She looked down, 'How could I have done all this in just a mere hour?' She asked herself silently. She looked at the familiar faces, 'No! No, this cant be… I… I'm a ……' She fell to the ground and screamed "MURDERER!" threw her hands.
He walked into the room, "So miss Flynn, how are you and your family doing? Good I hope." He said. He was fairly young, so it made him sound incredibly intelligent the way he talked causally. The young women looked to be about thirteen or so, frowned, "I'm sorry to bring the fateful news Sir Erwin, but they have all been…" Her eyes began to swell up with tears. "Oh Erwin! They've all been murdered!" She finished crying out. By now the tears were streaming down her face, yet the man, Sir Erwin showed no sign of care. "Come again miss? I was appalled by your lack of respect. Murder did you say?" Not until he spoke the word did he show signs of pity. ';Poor Flynn, what was the child's name again? Oh dear.' He thought trying to show his pity. "Forgive me, Sir Erwin. I lost control of my manners, I shall never make that mistake again. Yes, they are indeed dead, murdered by some criminal of the sort." The young girl said whipping her face of the tears she had shed. "Oh, no forgive me miss Flynn, manners at a time like this? I cant believe it myself, great dreadful feeling for myself, so I can only imagine what you must be going threw, the youngest of them all were you not?" He asked brushing a gentle hand on her shoulder. She looked up at him, her eyes he had now noticed were a copper red color. His first thought was 'Vampire? No, the Flynn's were the utmost protected family in all of the land, why then are her eyes red? Could she have been amongst the murder seen and saw something inhumane so there fore she is too no longer human?' He gasped at his disloyal thoughts. 'If I lose her trust, vampire or not, then I lose my own position. Crap why didn't father tell me that this day would come sooner then I thought!?' He shook his head. "What Sir Erwin? Did I say something?" She asked, 'Her voice is a bit still, maybe she is a vampire. No! I have to believe, to have faith in her trust.' "No miss, you did not, I was just remembering. Where were you during the murder? If you don't mind my asking?" He asked calming himself. "Oh, I see. You were busy thinking of how to ask that," she sighed and looked at the floor then staring him directly in the eye told him "I was in my room, I had been asleep until I heard a young girl scream something, it was ear piercing. I awoke, frightened. I ran down stairs just to see my father and Michael still, motionless on the floor, they had fought something treacherous. There was blood lining the walls, they weren't they only people on the ground, there were many of our servants and guards just laying there, dead. I ran up to my mothers room and saw…" She was interrupted by a knocking on the door. A tall scrawny man walked in and walked over to Erwin, "Sir? You have a mistress at your door, she's waiting for you in the lobby, I believe her name was Miss Eleanor of the Cilegna, do you recall?" Erwin nodded, "Farewell Scott, you are rudely interrupting, Miss Cilegna of Eleanor can wait." He said pushing Scott out the door, "Eleanor of Cilegna! Get it right! Sir." He said shutting the door behind him. Erwin turned and the girl had vanished. "Miss Flynn? Hello? Hmmm… how odd, I could have sworn I was just talking to her. Maybe I fell asleep. Well Eleanor should be at my door, I guess I'll go and spend my hours with her, try and get a miss before I have to forfeit my position."
He sighed, finding love was a very difficult task for him. He loved any women for they all had one quality that he loved but he was unable to love any of them, for with everything he loved he always found three things he couldn't live with. A thought struck him, 'Flynn?' But Michael would be furious. Well he would send a letter to the elegant Miss Flynn he had just spoke to, he would have to ask her to have a dinner with him. He wanted to know more of her. Those eyes. Her still voice, and her sudden disappearance.
As Erwin walked into the room, there was Eleanor smiling as usual. Her beauty was that of a daisy. But Erwin still could not get that Flynn child out of his head. "Anything the matter my dear Erwin?" She asked walking up to him so close she just barely walked into him. He could feel her every breath, breathe in, and release. Her dress made her waist small, too small thought Erwin. He touched her hip, and felt a cold slap. "Well! I must say! Just because I'm concerned does not give you reason to touch me!" she said storming out. He could still feel her sting. That was the first anyone had ever laid a hand on him. He was furious. 'She had no right to slap me! Its just cloth!' he thought angrily. He turned around to see the Flynn girl sitting there as if she had been waiting for him to face her. She stood up and walked over to him. She looked at his face, "Sore?" She asked, more or less whispered. He nodded. She gently took her hand and brushed her hand as in to reassure her trust in him. She no longer gave the impression of a child of thirteen. She acted like most of the women Erwin had seen. Young but still old enough to understand responsibility of their actions. She had doubled her age in just seconds, or was it that Erwin could no longer see her age? "How old are you miss?" He finally asked putting his hand on her cold hand that had been placed on his cheek. "I'm sixteen, why Sir Erwin do you ask?" 'Just as I thought.' "Are you the last of the Flynn's?" He asked cautiously. She sorely nodded. "I am. Why are you asking this?" She asked him, "Forgive me for intruding you with these questions, but eh Miss… there is two more I must ask. Would you mind?" He asked gently. "Of course not, I just want to know why Sir." "You may call me Erwin if you like, and what is your name? I seem to have not gotten it in the past." She smiled and got even closer to him, "Ryndella Flynn of Cinomed." He smiled and put his other hand gently on her back as if ready to dance, "And are you ready to be wed?" He asked with a certain satisfaction in his voice. She frowned but pressed up closer to him, and just like Eleanor had done making it so he could or should feel her every breath, but it felt as if she weren't breathing at all. Still bodied. "I am, but Erwin, Michael. Oh no. I can not wed any one at the moment. My sorrow would ruin the wed." She said as she lay her face down on his chest. He liked the uncertainty she brought him, he felt on edge. She had him guessing. He felt like her toy for a moment but then he realized he had toyed with many women's hearts just before he dismissed his love for them. Ryndella was different. Young with wisdom. "Your warm Erwin, are you feeling alright?" She asked, "Yes but are you miss Ryndella? Your cold as ice and your chest is still." He asked. She then asked "Have you ever wanted to never age, to stay in one spot in time." "Yes actually, I feel that way right now. Why Ryndella are you different? You seem… to have completed me. I don't get it, I've never felt this way before about you." She smiled at him, and then felt his grip get tighter. He held her in his strong hands.
Unaware that Eleanor had come back to bring her apologies. The once sweet Eleanor had ripped Ryndella off of Erwin and slapped her. "Who in Zyfends name are you!" she snarled at the young girl full of loss. Ryndella's spirals of hail bounced as she fell to the ground. Looking up at Eleanor with hatred in her eyes, " who am I!? I am Ryndella Flynn of Cinomed! Who the hell are you!?" Ryndella spoke. Erwin stepped between Ryndella and Eleanor and held out a hand for Ryndella. She took his hand elegantly and brushed her gown off and walked out feeling a bit estrange. She heard Erwin's calls for her to come back and his curse at Eleanor. "How could you! She is of more stasis than the both of us put together! You fool! Go now, I have no desire for your punishable actions. And do not bring another day of you to me!"
Ryndella sat in her room, brushing her hair. It went through the comb and bounced back into shape over and over again. She had been watching it in the mirror her grandmother had given to her for her last birthday. It was a beauty to just look at so any woman who looked through it seemed to be twice as beautiful as she was before. It was enchanted, not only did it make the woman seem more beautiful on the outside but it seemed to have a purifying sensation about it. She began to remember the warmth of Erwin's body close to hers. She smiled without even realizing she had. She got up and placed her brush on her vanity. She walked into her bathroom and slipped off her gown and started up a shower. She stepped into the ice cold water and began to shiver. Then the water temperature began to rise. Soon it got so hot it felt as if it would wilt her delicate skin away, but she knew better. She stepped out of the shower and placed a cotton towel around her slim body, she saw her hip as she held the towel to her self, ' oh Erwin.' she thought then quickly shook her head, 'Erwin? Why am I thinking of that boy?' she sighed and walked out of the bathroom and right over to her closet, she pulled out her thinnest sleeping gown and slipped it over her body. She tied the waist banned around her stomach as she heard a knock on her window. It was Erwin. His handsome face outlined in sleek jet black hair that made him look even more incredibly intelligent. He smiled at her. She ran over to the window and slid it open, "What on earth are you doing! Are you mad!?" she whispered. He shook his head with a grin on his face. "Come on! I want you to see something!" It had been a long time sense anything in Ryndella's life had giving her much interest. So when he appeared she dint know whether to laugh or scold. She had chosen scold, seeing as the hour was half past midnight ad she had just been in nothing but a towel. "you didn't see anything right?" she asked a little concerned. He smiled but shook his head, "a gentleman never tells, don't you worry. I never saw anything." he said with a kiss on her cheek. She laughed, she was not the one in her family for the spontaneous actions such as his one but she enjoyed it all the same. Her only problem was that she had to take responsibility over all her actions, and that included sneaking out and having her little spontaneous night.
She took Erwin's hand and he pulled her out side holding her in his arms tightly and went down the latter silently. Ryndella hadn't noticed he had been on a latter. They reached the bottom and he took her hand and pulled her into the woods. They ran for about fifteen minutes and they reached a little cabin. It was big enough to have a kitchen and one room, cozy thought Ryndella. Erwin noticed her gawking at the small cabin, "You like?" He asked kindly. She gave a small giggle, "Yes," she said breathlessly. He took her into the cabin. As she had predicted there was only a small kitchen with a tiny round table and a candle burning slightly out on top, to the left was a door way that lead to a small room. Erwin lead her into the room. "Its lovely! Oh Erwin how did you find this?" she asked still breathlessly. He smiled and hugged her, "Oh please Ryndella, please tell me you feel the same way about me as I do for you." She just hugged him back and just let her tears flow from her eyes. "Erwin, you don't understand. I'm not who you think I am, yes I feel this way too. But I refuse to hurt you. Oh. I'm sorry." he held her close to his chest, "Ryndella I just don't want to let you go, ever." “ I know… I don’t want to let you go either but…oh Erwin!” she cried as she ran out the cabin. She didn’t stop running until she tripped over a root in the ground. It was about twenty minutes away from the cabin. She saw an orange glitter in a bush. It disappeared and reappeared for about a minute. She put a hand on her hip. “Aright whose there?” She asked aggravated a little that someone would hide themselves from her of all people. A man about six feet popped up from the bush. “you called child?” He asked revealing his teeth. ‘Amazing a peasant has teeth.’ she thought to her self. “yes why are you in the bushes?” the tall scraggly man smiled. “Well I was waiting for a human, but it looks like you found me instead. Damn I guess I should be more discrete about my where about eh?” Ryndella shot him an awkward look, “Human? Aren’t I a human?” “You a human? A vampire who thinks she can play the role of a human?! Girly you make me laugh!” He said not hiding any remorse. “Ok, didn’t know I was talking to a Looney, well honey you better get back into town. Your nurse is most likely looking for you. Here I’ll walk you, how’s that sound?” “Look girly, I isn’t no Looney and I’ll go to town when I damn well feels like it. You isn’t a human either. If you were you’d be gone by now, a pretty girl like your self wouldn’t be caught alive in the forest at night. Why would you want to be a human or even pretend to be one?” he asked his voice raspy though he looked fairly young. “;pretend? I do not pretend. I am a human.” The man shook his head, “Red eyes in a human?”
Ryndella sternly tried to make sense of that. She knew she was different she just didn’t want to admit it. “Well then what mystical fairy tale creature am I?” She asked sarcastically. “Vampire.” he answered as sincere as he could by the sounds of it. Ryndella rolled her eyes. “;prove it.” she said. “Vampires have red eyes, werewolves have orange and humans have the others. Vampires can survive years of their starvation before the break, become true monsters.” Ryndella shook her head, “That cant be true. How many years does it take?” The man tilted his head back and gave a throaty laugh, “couple it all depends on the vampire. You seem starved enough to haven’t eaten much with sixteen years girly. True?” Ryndella shook her head again, “No I eat human food on a schedule. That cant be right. Stop trying to get to me.” “Get to you girly? I don’t play with vampires. I learnt my lesson years ago.” “I’M NOT A VAMPIRE!” Ryndella lost control of her voice, ‘crap, not good. Cool down Ryn.’ she thought silently. “Oh no? Then what are you? You cant have lived with humans and not know that you were different then them. Its not possible to live that way, ever.” his voice was still to raspy to have any icy effect. “I am a human and you are a nut. Clear as day. Got it?” she said her patience dissipating. “What I don’t get is why a beauty vamp is trying to be a human disgrace your own kind will you? Well if you do just remember pissing a vampire off isn’t a good idea.” He said as he walked off into the woods, he stepped over the root she had tripped on. “Wait! Tell me how you can be so sure that I am what I am.” he stopped suddenly. “Knew curiosity would get the better of ye. Amazing tool it is. Vampires red eyes, and they usually have no visible flaws on their reflection, gorgeous creatures they are. They grow until they reach year twenty seven then they remain as precious as the day turned such a lovely number, they can live as a human until this day, this day comes and they will go insane with food. Most humans disgust any abnormalities such as red eyes so what gets me is how you’ve managed to stay alive living as a human. I know one way to ensure the safety of any one whom you love.” Ryndella gulped, ‘He’s worse than the local witch doctor, and he’s a nut job!’ “How do I ensure safety one them?” the man had faced her by now, “Tell me first why you’re still alive.” Ryndella secretly rolled her eyes, yet the man couldn’t see this. “No one sees much of me so they cant judge me. My grandmother had always told me true beauty remains until the day she dies. In my family I was perfect, protected, loved. I know nothing of the world I now hold and have to endure alone.” He clicked his teeth, “Why alone?” Ryndella lightly snorted, “Haven’t you heard the great murder story? Its been every where.” “OH so you’re the young miss Flynn. That would make sense then. Very well miss. Forgive me. The way to en-” he began to laugh hilariously before he could finish the sentence. “What is so funny!?” Ryndella lost all patience. “You don’t have anyone do you?” He asked arrogantly as he stopped his laughter. Ryndella took a second to think who she could possibly protect, then Erwin swamped her mind again. Her eyes swelled up with tears. She bit her lip to stop the tears from flowing down her face, and responded in a weak and shaky voice that sounded distant, “Y-yes I do. I got the village.” “You think they care about you? You think if you were to attack them they’d find you out? Not a chance. Your to pretty for them to think such traitorous things like that.” He paused for a moment then continued in his monotone raspy voice, “By the looks of it. You haven’t truly eaten in ages. Your vampirism stomach should be starving by now. Let me show you the proper way to feed.” He suggested with out giving her a chance to say no he ripped open a slice in his skin with his finger nails and let the blood pour out. He took a slender finger and whipped the blood onto it then slid the finger across her mouth. Disgusted, she pushed him away. She gasped as she liked the blood off her lips. “Tasty?” he asked, she shook her head, “Terribly delicious. Gimme more!” “Ah but I cant, you must go hunting. If there is no vampire you nor I know then it shall be you feast alone.” he whispered gently in her ear. Then with out warning he disappeared into the nights air. “I feast alone? How? Am I truly mad now?” she asked herself out loud. “Ryndella!” Erwin’s voice called out to her. ‘No! That damned fool!’ she thought in her head.
